The YouTube Media Manager will be responsible for activating and optimizing YouTube campaigns with involvement throughout every step of the process. The objective of this position is to develop and execute effective management of YouTube channels and campaigns. This person will be responsible for crafting a strategy for these campaigns that aligns with business goals and objectives, creating the campaigns, communicating with the creative agency to help direct content and reporting out on performance metrics for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.

Successful applicants should have excellent communication skills, as they will be regular contributors to meetings with internal and external partners. This person should be someone who can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment in a collaborative style who enjoys constant testing.

The YouTube Media Manager will work closely with the paid search and natural search teams to closely manage campaigns that complement other paid media efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, audit, and manage YouTube campaigns
  • Monthly review of existing content to ensure videos on our channel(s) are still relevant and up to date
  • Perform daily campaign management of multiple large scale campaigns which include: campaign launches, budget management, bid management, analytic tracking and reporting, multivariate testing and participation in beta program testing
  • Employ excellent working knowledge of streaming video media to drive strong traffic and conversion results from proposed strategies
  • Demonstrate strong data analytics acumen by leading the execution, analysis and presentation of data for initiatives with the ability to derive conclusions and actionable next steps from results
  • Monitor incoming requests for video uploads and optimizations
  • Create a video marketing plan that aligns with organizational marketing goals
  • Optimize videos for SEO purposes using keyword-enriched descriptions and tags (adding title, description, URL, custom thumbnail, etc.)
  • Communicate with internal and external partners
  • Develop presentations and present results, key learnings and business recommendations to executives and other key stakeholders
  • Manage budget tracking process to make sure monthly spending levels are on pace
  • Collaborate with management and team members to define processes and procedures to further drive efficiencies and performance for key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in digital media
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working with external and internal partners or vendors
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Strong desire to learn and be challenged
  • Experience with auction based digital advertising (including YouTube campaign experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Analytics Experience
  • YouTube channel management
  • Experience using third party bid management platforms

Preferred Education

  • Four year degree in Marketing, Finance, Information Sciences, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Management Information Systems, but work experience is prioritized
