The Global HR Solutions team are responsible globally for collecting and managing workforce data. Without accurate and available HR data, the organization cannot appropriately meet strategic and tactical business plan objectives. Through efficient and effective management of HR data, our business partners can focus on the challenge of utilizing resources to innovate and deliver medicines to our patients.

The primary focus of the Associate role is on the maintenance and development of efficient and effective data and information flow between the business areas and HR. The individual in this role will serve as a data Associate for critical processes managed by the Global HR Solutions team. The primary role of the Global HR Solutions Associate is to process HR data requests. This involves triaging a queue of requests which are received from over 80 countries worldwide. The Associate will update employee records as requested by the HR Business Partner. It is expected that the individual in this position will conduct their daily activities through the lens of appropriately protecting HR Data, including complying with all HR Privacy and compliance mandates. Additional aspects of the role include job postings for the US Market and responding to general HR related queries from US employees.

The Associate role will evolve following the implementation of Workday and the Associate will adapt and take on new HR related responsibilities as required in line with business needs.

  • Process SAP HR and HRTK transactions; be the data expert in OM (organization management) and PA (personnel administration) Transactions may include: hires, terminations, transfers, leaves, planned end date extensions and organisational changes.
  • Respond to general HR queries using a knowledge base to address queries correctly and efficiently
  • Posting job positions through Brassring adhering to strict guidelines on structure and formatting
  • Collaborate with team members to monitor the queue of requests and work together to plan the daily processing approach and division of responsibilities
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders internally and globally
  • Ability to meet customer business needs within the agreed upon SLA and deliver on all performance metrics
  • Evaluating nature of requested transactions and ensure alignment and consistency with HR standards and privacy/compliance guidelines
  • Actively work with the other team members & Global HR Operations team to build effective working relationships and drive improvements for processes and data
  • Participate in scheduled and ad/hoc data clean up exercises to ensure data is accurate and positions are delimited as appropriate
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of affiliate requirements, anticipate and respond appropriately to any business, legal or affiliate needs; evaluate change requests
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience with all business partners internally within Cork GBS and with global business partners

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience in HR administration and/or relevant experience in operations
  • Demonstrated experience with data management and proven ability to interpret and manage data with sharp accuracy and focus
  • Strong business background with the ability to grasp systems, such as Lillys HR Toolkit, SAP HR Dashboards and SAP HR Personal Administration & Organisational Management Modules quickly and deeply
  • Experience with other HR Systems such as Workday and Case Management Systems
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working across functional boundaries effectively in order to achieve business outcomes. Ability to learn the interdependencies and needs of the business units/functions
  • Demonstrated ownership and ability to make decisions within guidelines and policies
  • Ability to work effectively in a physical and virtual team environment and with business partners around the globe
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced multi-national environment with ability to work individually and as part of team
  • Ability to work autonomously and also to be able to take direction when necessary
  • Commitment to exceptional Customer Experience by anticipating customer needs and proactively establishing key relationships with internal customers and develop solutions to meet their needs
  • Willingness to be adaptable and flexible as required with a solution focused mind-set and strong work ethic to overcome any challenges
