Workforce Management Application Consultant

**Job Description**

The Workforce Planning Consultant will have overall responsibility for the Customer Care Workforce Management suite of applications. Role will evaluate new modules and determine benefits of integration into our suite of tools. Role will make recommendations to the business and lead implementation efforts including project management functions. Assist in the development of new and or redesign of processes based on long term tactical priorities. Role will monitor the health of the application through maintenance coordination with IT Partners. Test application functions post update and patch installation. Through collaboration with the business, the Consultant will identify customer requirements and implement changes and enhancements. Contribute to defining standards, best practices, potential new functionality and guidelines to align system solutions. This will include consistent alignment of technical solutions with business goals and the objectives of LOB support. The Consultant will work with the Sr. leadership team, product users and customize and or configure the product to meet their needs. The role will be a primary single source contact and will have responsibility for user access and permissions through the creation and maintenance of security profiles. Role will partner with cross functional partners and vendors to develop and execute on plans and strategies to strategize, navigate and lead changes. The Consultant will partner with the Human Resource Technology team to maintain integration between the Workforce Management application and the time keeping application. This role will serve as SME on all key projects that involve the Workforce Management application but must display mastery knowledge of application. Role will report to the Manager of Workforce Management Technology but will interact daily with IT partners at the Director and VP level, Developers and Programmers and senior leaders within all lines of business. The Consultant will also have indirect responsibility for our Sr. Coordinator and provide workload and guidance for this individual.

**Required Qualifications**

- Five years of experience or more in Workforce Management application administration experience or similar experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Mastery in project management and leadership ability to lead complex projects, teams and drive projects/initiatives proactively

- Stellar communication skills with experience presenting and reporting out results

- Proficiency in creating procedures, packages and application changes

- Experience in health care or pharmacy related industries is preferred

- Strong presenter skills as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Experience with Crystal Reports and XML

- Experience with SQL

- Consult on advanced business analysis and present results and recommendations to all levels within the organization

- Advanced understanding of application integrations, feeds, and data transfers

- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues

- Ability to suggest alternative approaches

- Detail oriented and organized

- Requires advanced specialized expertise and focus on system performance, reliability and maintainability

- Ability to solve complex problems and interpret challenges. Resulting in recommendation to improve products, processes or application service.

- Self-motivated to work independently with minimal to no guidance

- Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, judgment and decision making skills

- Ability to be a corporate subject matter expert who can explain the value proposition and technical topics to those with our without a technical background

- Mastery in using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovative solutions

- Proven to work concurrently on multiple efforts with aggressive timelines

- Requires advanced specialized expertise in designing, troubleshooting and building system processes to support system performance

- Ability to independently drive change and be a decision maker

- Conduct research, apply broad perspective and exercise keen judgment to provide recommendations to the business


- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in information technology, application support or related areas
