**Job Purpose:**

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior position responsible for designing and implementing new UI functions, create reusable components, changes in existing functions and processes, integration with other systems working closely with Business users and Product Dev team. The overall objective of this role is to lead UI development of our flagship, global, cross product, industry recognized communication platform and integrate with other systems both internal and external to Citi.


+ Partner with product users, business leads to develop new UI functions, ensure appropriate integration of functionalities aligning with product roadmap as well as provide thought leadership to deploy new UI functions and process improvements

+ Build pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web

+ Participate in conceiving and designing new UI flows and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation

+ Drive independently a project from inception to production deployment with a strong focus on performance and robustness

+ Follow our software development process including writing unit tests, perform code reviews etc.

+ Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

+ Work effectively with cross-functional teams to develop features

+ Demonstrate ability to deliver results on time with high quality

+ Mentor and coach mid-level developers and analysts, assign tasks and review code via pull request

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 8+ years of relevant experience in UI Development or Full Stack development

+ Strong technology background with working knowledge of evolving technologies

+ Proficient in at least one JavaScript framework like Angular, ReactJS, VueJS, or equivalent

+ Proficient in Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS3 usage in building large scale applications

+ Experience in developing Responsive, real time UI using NodeJS or Websockets

+ Passion for building a rich and innovative user experience

+ Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and problem solving

+ Experience in Single Page Application architecture

+ Experience in developing Mobile application (native or HTML)

+ Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent field
