VP Sales - East Pathology

The VP Sales-Pathology oversees and inspires direct commercial teams located across the defined region for the LBS product lines. The role is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth. S/he has the autonomy to drive goals and objectives, measuring and monitoring performance and critically contributing to a holistic strategic and business planning process. S/he drives results through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis.


  • Develop annual budgets based on achieving above market growth for all product lines within the defined region. Deliver budgeted performance;
  • Ensure that regional booking and revenue are accurate against forecast commitments, by consistently driving funnel management
  • Drive rigorous business processes by proactively present, minimize and manage business risks across a variety of territories
  • Collaborate with the BU and marketing to define the strategy for the commercial functions with short-and long-term plans to execute on the company strategy;
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures that ensures strict compliance with all legal, regulatory and company requirements.
  • Track competitive market share, win/loss data and fully understand competitive selling strategies
  • Build and develop a high performing team that is €œbest in class€. Constantly maintains a mind-set focused on recruiting, retaining, engaging and developing top talent. €œThe Best Team Wins€.
  • Develop direct reports with an active succession plan in place and oversee the performance for growth process with the whole team (including goal alignment and compensation plans)
  • Continuously drive Voice of the Customer (VOC) back into all parts of the business to ensure customer€™s interests are prominently positioned to provide excellent customer solutions and consistently strive to increase NPS scores
  • Represent the organization in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences and other official occasions
  • Advocate for the customer,


    • 15+ years of working experience in relevant commercial roles;
    • Ability to drive business success through managing customer needs, demonstrating consistent and impressive drive to bring change in support of growth and improved customer experience;
    • Proven track record as an influencing and enabling people leader;
    • Strong communication skills and sound business acumen;
    • Capable of building constructive and effective relationships both inside and outside the organization;
    • Critical thinker and able to play in a global and complex environment;
    • Continuous improvement mindset
