Digital Team in Bank & Mortgage Decision Management is looking for a seasoned analyst to drive advanced digital analytics by bringing together structured and unstructured data sources, programming in R/Python, applying tools and techniques to build Machine Learning Models that would aid in Targeting/Optimization for Online & Mobile channels.

Retail Bank North America (N.A.) has currently ensconced upon broadening the scope of Digital Modeling and Targeting to Big Data and Hadoop Platform both in case of development and production so attracting specialized talent in this space is a priority for the business while supplementing it with banking knowledge of varied products, services and financial models will drive the next generation capabilities for Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve varied sources of external and internal data and conduct large complex analysis using various analytical tools, software and techniques.
  • Utilize traditional and AI including Machine Learning algorithms to develop targeting strategies for digital acquisition programs.
  • Develop a rigorous online testing program, track and analyze performance of various digital acquisition tests and programs to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Contribute to modeling and targeting applicability across channels including owned sites, display, paid and natural search, affiliates, social media, etc.
  • Articulate data driven insights to business partners and senior leaders, obtain organizational buy-in, and work across teams to drive implementation of the recommendations.
  • Lead and manage meetings with cross functional teams including Marketing, Product, Legal/Compliance/Fair Lending etc.
  • Lead POCs in Next Gen applications for Digital business cases to drive the throughput while leveraging multiple funnel levers
  • Manage vendor engagement while actively participating in developing Digital algorithms and applications for acquisition and existing customer engagement programs


  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required (i.e., Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Operations Research). Graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in analytic role is required. Digital experience is preferred.
  • Data science proficient with Big Data programming language (i.e., R, HIVE, Python).
  • Web analytics working knowledge of SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics
  • Modeling machine learning technique is a plus (i.e., Nave Bayes, Random Forests, Deep Learning, Ensemble).
  • Digital data familiarity with 3rd party data and data providers in the industry is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills presenting to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals.
  • Strong project management skills prioritizing and managing multiple deliverables at the same time
