This role in the Chief of Staff Office of Citi Cards N.A. will provide comprehensive support to the Global Cards CEO, Chief of Staff and the extended management team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting business analysis in support of the Global Cards vision and strategy. Role provides a unique perspective on the business, and the ability to gain broad exposure by driving business strategy, and addressing high impact issues across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner directly with various players across the Cards business, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives, including the annual strategic plan
Develop communication materials and presentations for senior management, including C-level management, the Board of Directors, Operating Committee and other key stakeholders as required. Synthesize and summarize data from across the business to provide critical information to executive team
Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to Global Cards
Develop transformational strategies to grow and re-position the business
Provide clarity in complex problems and facilitate decision-making
Support performance measurement and management, including via external benchmarking -- deliver world-class market and competitive intelligence
Lead and drive large parts of the project: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and getting buy-in for change
Lead efforts on Competitive Intelligence including compiling reports, associated analysis and management reporting documents ready for publication and review by senior business leaders
Project and program management including tracking progress against milestones, compiling status update reviews and creating executive program level summaries
Performs all of the above independently and with limited supervision

For this position, we are looking for outstanding talent with strong intellectual and analytical capabilities, a well-developed strategy tool kit, financial services experience, and the ability to work in a matrix organization and influence change


Bachelors Degree in economics, finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, computer science or related quantitative discipline and 5 plus years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Alternatively, Masters degree in one of the above fields is strongly preferred.
2-5 years of strategy experience at a Management Consulting firm or in the strategy function of a
Financial Services firm preferred
Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities required
Knowledge of operational/financial modeling (forecasting, valuation) and ability to analyze financial statements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness and ability to work across all levels of organization
Strong leadership presence, communication skills, including proven experience in developing senior executive presentations and communications
Ability to garner support and secure buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; ability to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers to deliver end-products
Self-motivated and results oriented
