Position:  EaaS Development VP

The EaaS Development VP will execute our go-to-market strategy develoing bespoke Energy as a Service Solutions that meet out our target customers needs.  The role is responsible to Identify and effectively qualify sales leads and maintain a opportunity pipeline.  EaaS Solutions comprise and incorporate applications such as cogeneration, small power generation, renewable energy, microgrids, energy storage, and financial solutions.  The Development VP will have broad responsibility to coordinate opportunity development efforts across all stakeholders and our partner network and will be accountable for business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and effectively qualify sales leads and maintain an opportunity pipeline

2. Co-manage customer communication and opportunity management with sales teams

3. Lead virtual capture team through from pre-acquisition phase to proposal delivery

4. Maintain Executive, C-level relationships and proficiency in value-selling solutions and services

5. Maintain personal contact with major customers to ensure an appropriate level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

6. Develop and evolve new business models for EaaS

7. Define solution gaps requiring external partners

8. Develop business partnerships to enhance our position in the EaaS market




The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Be an expert in microgrid technologies and energy supply contracts

Have experience executing microgrid projects

Identify business/funding opportunities across ecosystem partners and customers while developing a business case for executing such opportunities.

Ability to independently propose project scope and negotiate partnerships and close deals with customers

Proven experience in executing projects that combine energy management, utility programs, and energy markets including independently closing energy contracts

Strong technology understanding in both hardware and software, and electricity energy economics

Strong analytical, modeling skills, especially modeling the economics of energy usage

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.

10-15 years experience working in a similar role and industry
