What you'll do

Recognized as a lean expert, identifies, develops, and manages projects and initiatives through operational plans by working with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain cross functional groups to determine processes and procedures for execution within all operations areas, leading to greater efficiencies and effectiveness. Drive standardization, stability, simplification, and impactful changes through continuous improvement.

  • Managing multiple value streams, serving as a recognized expert and resource leader for focus areas, process rigor, and delivering significant simplification results.
  • Support the site in identifying and implementing process improvements by utilizing continuous improvement tools including: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Controls, Flow Production, and Waste Elimination.
  • Create and improve Value Stream Maps to identify opportunities for production/process enhancement to achieve organizational goals
  • Directly lead and manage various cross-functional teams of hourly and salaried individuals in support of Kaizen and Lean Action Work Out events.
  • Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean tools.
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage projects, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Who you are

    • Bachelor€™s degree and minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience in business environment or High school diploma/GED and 7 years work experience
    • Demonstrated solid performance, leadership and experience in lean manufacturing
    • Proven experience in influencing, leading teams and driving change.
    • Minimum 2 years project management
    • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated facilitation experience.
