Validation engineer for EyeC Lidar

Intel EGI develops the next generation of high-performance long-range scanning LiDAR systems for Automotive use. This project involves cutting edge electro-optic systems, HW, FPGA/ASIC, mechanics, FW and Algorithms. We are looking for a validation engineer for the LiDAR validation team.

 

As a part of your work, you are expected to develop, bring-up setup and perform tests for system and sub system validation involving electrical boards, SW /FW /Algorithm blocks and functional validation. Also required to perform test data analysis, conclude and report. The work requires an understanding of multidisciplinary system and close interfaces with system integration, HW, SW and algorithm teams as well as being flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Work to be performed in EyC LiDAR validation lab in Haifa, and may include also field activities. Some of the work is carried in IR Laser certified environment

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Practical engineering
• Minimal 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven hands-on experience in Test and validation of multidisciplinary systems
• Knowledge and experience in HW validation, HW/FW interaction, ASIC/FPGA embedded systems and functional testing.
• Excellent debugging, analyzing and problems solving skills, accountability and Independency.
• Experience in Python/C++/Matlab for validation development and analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in LIDAR/RADAR systems and/or functional safety –  advantage
