The IT Project Tech Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.


+ Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.

+ Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects.

+ Recommends and oversees process improvements.

+ Has considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.

+ Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.

+ Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.

+ Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.

+ Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.

+ Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

+ Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 6-10 years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field


+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Additional Job Description

**Job Purpose:**

The position is to fulfil need within Project/Program Quality Peer review team for TTS Core Accounts Technology. This position will be responsible to lead the team in providing support for both technical and business office related activities ensuring Projects and Programs are meeting the minimum requirements as per Program and project management procedures within the LOB.

The candidate will need to be proactive rather than reactive in implementing quality standards and driving resolution of issues with stakeholders. Candidate should be able to internalize the standards quickly and be able to provide guidance to PMs in order to produce high quality deliverables and to drive the team to the excellence.

**Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:**

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills

+ Experience with financial tools, especially PTS a plus.

Among the other things, the resource will be asked to

+ Review project and program deliverables to ensure we are meeting the minimum quality requirements

+ Maintain the review process and reduce turnaround times for Project and program managers. Promote usage of available tools like JIRA to engage the process. Provide metrics related to volume and throughput of the process.

+ Assist PMs to create better deliverables. This involves conducting weekly meetings and learning sessions for all stakeholders.

+ Act as a recognized partner for the PMO representatives of various teams in LOB organization.

+ Support the Line of Businesses on all the quality metrics defined to review the compliance of our Project and Program Management proces.

+ Assist the organization in achieving compliance on various LOB level audits.

+ Take responsibility for generating agreed senior management reports. Ensure that these reports are delivered without any lapses in quality in a timely manner.

+ Liaise with Project, Program managers & other stakeholders to identify root cause for PMQC related issues. Improve processes to mitigate risks in future.

+ Create and generate periodical adherence/management reports for Senior management

+ Lead the team to achieve the objectives agreed with the management.
