DEVELOPMENT:
This position is an opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Global Treasury and Trade Solutions' Liquidity Management Services product set and client base, including key drivers of satisfaction and business retention.
BUSINESS OVERVIEW:
The Global Treasury and Trade Solutions business serves treasurers and cash managers at large corporations, financial institutions and public sector entities globally by providing products to efficiently manage payments, receivables, liquidity & investment and trade finance and services. Citis Liquidity Management Services products offer treasury and financial professionals secure electronic access to the above via multiple connection methods: web-based, file-based, mobile or directly integrated with your treasury workstation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Liquidity Management Services Marketing Manager will work with the global Core Cash product teams and regional marketing teams as well as the Client Sales Management and the Global Market Management organizations to develop a strategic framework for positioning Liquidity Management Services products/solutions sets to Citis clients. This individual will develop key propositions and strategies around Liquidity Management Services solutions including developing sales tools and strategies, coordinating product launches, developing collateral materials and product toolkits, coordinating online training programs as well as developing case studies and client testimonials in support of Liquidity Management Services solutions. In addition, this individual will work on creating industry visibility for Citi solutions through thought leadership opportunities, media coverage and client events. Responsibilities will also include developing cohesive communications utilizing Citis 2.0 platform to facilitate the sharing of intellectual capital as well as the external website to build brand visibility and foster market awareness. This individual will also work closely with regional marketing partners to execute product launches and campaigns as well as disseminate key messaging and tools to the respective client-facing teams.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Successful marketing materials and programs will enhance and facilitate the sales process and will promote user adoption, including product implementation and volume ramp-up. Success will enhance client satisfaction with Citi and positively impact perceptions of Citi as a thought-leader and innovator in the global treasury services market. Success will also facilitate cross-sales and deepening of existing client relationships.
KEY CHALLENGES:
Key challenges include: managing relationships in a complex global organization and developing marketing programs that position Citi as a leader and innovator among the competition in a market that is highly commoditized with price often being one of the few differentiators.      .

Qualifications


Qualifications and Competencies
Requirements:
5 to 7 years Financial Services and/or technology marketing experience required
Global marketing experience preferred
Knowledge of cash management and trade finance preferred
Bachelors degree required, desirable in marketing or communications
Experience with developing marketing programs based upon industry and proprietary customer research findings.
Excellent written and oral communications skills, including some copywriting experience on basic marketing communications
Solid experience managing creative resources, both internal and external
Excellent project management skills
Strong ability to work independently and manage numerous project deadlines simultaneously
Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment a plus
Bachelor's degree required
