Global Market Management (GMM) supports growth by building a more connected TTS product proposition for our clients, creating competitive advantage for Citi and enabling the sales force to deliver greater value. We do this based on solution-driven commercialization of Citi capabilities, actionable intelligence, data-driven analysis and decision support tools.
Job Description:
This role will continue to up-tier the Data and Structured Solution Tools and Artificial Intelligence initiatives of TTS business and report directly to the Director within Global Market Management responsible for Business and Clients Analytics.
This Market Manager will be responsible for owning the following key functional areas of Data-Driven Insights and Targeting & Segmentation:
           Harnessing internal, external and client sourced data along with client analytical tools to continually refine best practices and methodologies for improving client engagement and placing of product solutions to drive revenue.
           Play the role of client and business advocate, strategic x-functional hub and consultant in the organization while also being a close partner to Enterprise Services who drive Citis data and analytics capabilities.
           Integrate the best approaches with data and insights into client level engagements and portfolio level exercises (e.g. targeting and segmentation) while identify areas for process improvement and automation (including Artificial Intelligence)
           As Citi continues to invest in its already robust products and capabilities, this role will be critical in efficiently driving toward pipeline and revenue opportunities.  Efforts to create a sustainable and efficient framework will be in-conjunction with go-to-market strategies defined by Market Management that are synchronized with Product objectives, and eyes open to Regional and Segment-based nuances.
           Facilitate publicizing/commercializing data-based efforts to amplify desired results (more sales, better use of resources, building internal relationships, etc.)
Ideally, the candidate would have a good internal brand / network, savvy and proven track record leveraging data to solve problems or drive towards opportunities, cross-TTS (or ICG) expertise, and ability to create and roll out standardized processes.
 Detailed Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
           Coordinate with TTS (and ICG) functions to identify areas for improvement in processes and resources best positioned meet business needs.  Clearly articulate requirements and business impact.
           Coordinate with Enterprise Services on effective use of resources to support business objectives
           Create extensions to existing data-driven tools, or new ones, based on prioritized use of resources and business opportunities.
           Be involved in client engagements where data-driven tools are deployed, in order to have a real view on their impact and where to drive efforts
           Advocate to stakeholders within Market Management and partner functions to insert our data-driven tool-set into commercialization efforts, both internal and external.
Specific Projects and Deliverables:
           Advance data driven targeting and segmentation tactics towards industrialization at the global level and partnering with Global and Regional Market Managers towards integration in downstream processes
           Create cross-cash or product specific use cases for data automation in artificial intelligence or analytics working with partners to detail the scope, measure the opportunity, and drive toward improvements.
           Create extensions beyond core Cash Management to our Client Relationship Insights (CRI, our client analytics tool and environment. This will include for Trade, Cards, Working Capital, or  specific business opportunities related to market events (e.g. US Tax Reform, Brexit).  Also work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve/rationalize existing modules
           Partner with Market Managers in Regions and other SMEs to prioritize improvements to inputs or outputs to CRI and project manage towards implementation hosting periodic or regular meetings to align partners
Position Objectives, Key Responsibilities, Development Value:
The incumbent will drive the agenda by enhancing processes and leveraging a network of partners across front office (e.g. Sales, Product) and back office that can enable our objectives.
           Expose yourself to the world of Big (and little) Data as well as practical Artificial Intelligence to expedite business opportunities (client revenue and wallet capture)
           Drive Targeting and Segmentation strategies to converge on net new and incremental revenue opportunities
           Become an advocate or ambassador in TTS for programs to drive the adoption and best practices around data
           Provides global senior stakeholder exposure and ability to work closely with senior management to drive our business to the next level
           Exposure and daily interaction with a diverse team globally.

Qualifications


Qualifications:
           Ability to work with direct and virtual teams cutting across silos and boundaries, with the focus on driving value for client and new revenues for Citi. Team player.
           Confidence, ability and maturity needed to work closely with stakeholders on a daily basis
           Analytical abilities to develop, evolve and industrialize processes from that drive replication, self-service and economies of scale
           Proven abilities to focus resources and leverage data and analysis to drive towards business objectives
           Developed knowledge in one of the TTS Cash businesses
           Some knowledge of cash and treasury management and working knowledge of the TTS business, balance sheet, revenue drivers, and products
           Developing or established understanding of innovations and disruptive technologies in the cash management space
           Desire to challenge the conventional, own a problem, bring others on board and drive the firm to creating solutions
           Strong self-motivation
           Strong communication skills, ability to articulate complex ideas and analytics in succinct and easy to grasp form
           ~5 years prior product development, market management or corporate sales experience in banking and/or technology companies
           Strong abilities to gather consensus on priorities and drive initiatives
           Keen abilities in delivering presentations and other forms of verbal and written communication including ways to leverage virtual communities, social media, Collaborate, surveys, etc.
           Bachelors required; MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
