TTS APAC Regional Senior Marketing Manager (Vice President)

**Position Objective:**

The Regional Asia Pacific Senior Marketing Manager for Treasury and Trade Services (TTS) will be responsible for working with the Sales and Product managers across the TTS business lines to help them commercialize Citis solutions. His/her span of responsibility encompasses the regional management of content and tactics, sales collateral, channels, media, advertorials, awards, polls, internal communications and event management. The role will cover the 17 markets in Asia Pacific where Citi has presence.

The Regional Senior Marketing Manager will report to the TTS Marketing Head for Asia Pacific region.

Citis Treasury and Trade Solutions Business (TTS) is a global business spanning multiple integrated solutions within Citis Transaction Services including: Trade and Supply Chain, Liquidity and Investments, Cash Management, Commercial Cards and Receivables serving public sector clients, corporates and financial institutions in over 120 countries. TTS innovative solutions help clients streamline and automate processes, mitigate risk and expand their reach across Citis unparalleled global network.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Drive the TTS Regional Marketing Plan across Public Sector, Corporate & FI Segments and Cash (Liquidity, Receivables, Channels, Payments and Commercial Cards) & Trade (Trade Services, Working Capital Finance and Trade Services) in order to support the key top-line commercial objectives of the business development and client management functions.

Develop and deliver the profile the TTS business externally, by engaging with the senior leadership team(s) to promote key TTS capabilities and themes with insight driven messaging, brand awareness, content/thought leadership, proprietary events and industry conferences, social and digital campaigns -- to engage with clients.

Key partners: Regional and local Sales Teams, regional Product team, Marketing partners from global, regional and local teams, regional Compliance and Legal teams, global and regional Event Management (GEM) teams, External Creative and Production Agencies, Internal Graphics and Digital teams NY, Events Sponsors and Industry Associations.

The TTS Regional Senior Marketing Manager supports the TTS Asia Pacific Marketing Plan in relation to:

_Sales Enablement_

+ Support global campaigns for regional rollout in partnership with global product marketing colleagues across P&R, LMS, Digital Channels and Trade.

+ Leverage existing global messaging and materials and develop in collaboration with regional product & sales experts: product demos, video client testimonials, written case studies.

+ Own, develop and roll out program of smaller, bespoke persona-based client and prospect events and PR programs supporting region specific business development plans.

+ Client marketing initiatives across the core markets to drive innovative content development to position TTS products and solutions. Leverage VOC results and account plans for marketing follow ups.

+ Co-ordinate the development and delivery of all relevant marketing deliverables (eg marketing collateral, external client communications) in line with Citi policies or changes to external regulations.

_Industry visibility_

+ Manage the effort around Credentials, Thought Leadership and Awards Agenda to proactively create content and submissions that position TTS to win key awards establishing its client value propositions.

+ Develop in collaboration with the regional and local Corporate Affairs media approach and content for new product launches and local events.

_Client Engagement_

+ Identify, lead and execute client facing initiatives such as: online webinars, roundtables, forums and industry events for Corporates, FI and Public sector clients segments. Client facing initiatives will include: pre-event target market analysis, agenda building, develop the client invitation campaign while tracking clients registration via CRM platform, manage vendors or/and work with GEM teams in executing the initiatives logistics where needed. These initiatives will be measured by the number of clients, pipeline, revenue and CRM contact capture. For any in-country client initiatives the manager will work with the local TTS sales head to build agenda and lead event master plan.

+ Establish a robust process for feeding qualitative and quantitative results for all marketing and communication initiatives to permit tracking with sales / client analytics team.

_Digital Approach_

+ The regional senior marketing manager will be responsible for leading the digital strategy across the different digital channels available for clients such as KXC, Social media with Global TTS Marketing in the Region & NYC, Events Websites.

+ The regional marketing manager will be responsible for championing HORIZONS for APAC region.

+ Collect and analyze digital metrics and campaign data, synthesize results and identify actionable items and best practices for constant improvement of our channels

_Risks and Controls_

Own the process development and management of:

+ Policies and procedures to ensure that his/her marketing initiatives remains in compliance with all regional/local legal and compliance requirement as well as brand standards.

+ Serve as needed as point of contact with the Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, Information Security, etc. teams across TTS.

+ Manage the budget and expenses allocated to his/her specific activities within the regional marketing plan.


+ Minimum of 5-8 years marketing management experience in transaction services or B2B marketing

+ Strong affinity for digital technology and insight into trends and advancements with web, social media and personal hand-held application-based technology

+ Documented record of success in senior marketing management positions(s) illustrating strategic business knowledge and engagement.

+ Experience leading vast, global/regional projects spanning various functions and business partners; previous experience leading a virtual team without direct reporting relationships

+ Excellent project management skills: highly organized, deadline driven, able to manage executional details, intricate budgets and cross-functional teams.

+ Proactive, results-orientated and organised with the ability to succeed in a highly-matrixed organisation

+ Experience with digital delivery and digital client engagement programs.

+ A proven track record and understanding of all the disciplines in the marketing mix.

+ Understanding of financial products and services is preferred/not essential.

+ A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors products and service is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business.

+ Flexibility in a fast-paced environment necessary.

+ Must have strong communication skills to provide clear, detailed creative direction. Ability to think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions.

+ Desire to continually challenge oneself and drive marketing programs to the next level.

+ Fluent in English.
