Treasury - Asset Liability Management Transformation Senior Group Manager

The Asset Liability Management Transformation Senior Group Manager will help build out and support a team of experienced Asset Liability Management transformational professionals with the core responsibility of driving transformation across Interest Rate Risk methodology and metrics, data sourcing and governance, forecasting models and engine, reporting and Funds Transfer Pricing to build a best in class global Asset Liability Management (ALM) functional group and capabilities. This also includes oversight of key regulatory and strategic initiatives of Interest Rate Risk while ensuring comprehensive and consistent Interest Rate Risk metrics to enable the measurement and management of the IRR across Citi. This role reports to the Head of Asset Liability Management Transformation and covers the global Citi balance sheet. This role will partner closely with various senior stakeholders across Treasury, Risk Management, Business (ICG and Consumer), Controllers, CCAR/PPNR, FP&A, Data Services, Technology, Internal Audit and Regulators.


This dynamic role requires a leader who can collaborate across multiple senior business stakeholders, build a highly talented team and drive change through various transformative initiatives.


Key responsibilities include:


+ Supports the transformational strategy across Interest Rate Risk, Funds Transfer Pricing and Balance Sheet Management to ensure ALM meets the consent order objectives as they relate to Citis transformation

+ Represents the ALM functional group across the global Consent Order transformational programs to ensure alignment to the ALM strategy and key dependencies

+ Supports the rollout and coordination of a new global FTP engine and methodology across functional groups within Treasury, Business and Technology to ensure a global alignment with the new capability

+ Supports IRR methodology and model transformation efforts and coordinates with the Head of IRR, Head of FTP, Head of BSSO and Head of ALM, while leveraging input from other key stakeholders

+ Represents IRR in the design and implementation of an integrated forecasting platform partnering with PPNR, Capital Planning and Finance

+ Recommends, obtains consensus, and oversees complex strategic initiatives including execution of remediation plans of regulatory and Internal Audit commitments

+ Look across programs and initiatives to identify related and interdependent elements and provides recommendations, where needed, for combining or connecting programs and initiatives to achieve greater remediation effectiveness and efficiency

+ Prepares and communicates presentations to Bank Regulators (FRB, OCC and FDIC)

+ Develops and presents materials to Senior Executives and C-Suite regularly

+ Builds a strong talent base and drive employee engagement and retention, enhancing leadership opportunities and providing coaching and mentoring to team members across all levels

+ Provides analytical thought required to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations

+ Skilled communication and executive presence with the ability to quickly adjust message based on audiences and agendas


Qualifications:


+ Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields; advanced degree is a plus

+ 10+ years experience in Financial Services, Treasury ALM, and transformational programs with managerial experience required

+ Experience with Treasury, Asset Liability management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Interest Rate Risk management and methodology

+ Experience in managing complex end-to-end projects (business requirements, data capture, model design, technology development, validation, implementation, and use) with proven ability to influence without direct authority

+ Demonstrated ability to both independently and collaboratively solution completed and dynamic processes and the ability to work under pressure and in ambiguity

+ Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

+ Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly complex issues
