The Asset and Liability Management (ALM) unit in Citigroup Treasury is responsible for:
- Managing the models for Citis balance sheet and income statement forecasting process. The models translate the economic environment into scenario-based forecasts for Citis balance sheet and income statement
- Support Treasury and ALM modeling and analytical needs
- Supporting the on-going development of the Ruby system used for scenario analysis in support of planning, stress testing and interest rate risk
- Working with the business Planning and Finance teams and Interest Rate Risk Management function to set up forecasts and scenarios in Ruby
- Support transfer pricing modeling and execution
- Provide analytics around balance sheet/income statement exposures, underlying drivers and sensitivities
The candidates job responsibilities would include:
- Requires the ability to independently manage projects that involve key stakeholders from Citi businesses, Treasury, Finance and ALM colleagues
- Effectively track progress and escalate potential issues timely
- Preparation and coordination of all documentation to be presented to various Working group committees on a monthly basis
- Support senior management in decision-making by producing analyses on strategic/critical topics
- Work directly with senior management in producing all documentation and update requests from regulatory agencies (FED, OCC, FDIC) as well as from Internal Audit
- Develop a strong working relationship with Business, Risk, Finance and Operations Technology counterparts across the organization


- Minimum 6 plus years experience in a Treasury and/or Finance role
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, MBA, advanced degree preferred
- Excellent general-purpose programming skills
- Experience with SAS programming
- Proficiency in VB programming
- Proficiency in sharepoint programming
- Strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn about the relationship between the economic environment and the balance sheet/income statement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with colleagues at all levels within the organization
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint
- Detail oriented
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Keen learner and self-starter
