**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:**


Deliver defined sales targets. Develop and maintain network of accounts to expand the utilization of devices therapies, access tools, and monitoring for the disease management, according current and future guidelines. Collect market intelligence data and follow and report competition activities.


**MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**


**Selling and account support**


+ Achieve revenue targets within define territory

+ Cooperate with distributors network, to maintain healthy stock and product utilization.

+ Provide promotional activities such as group presentations, round tables, promotional events in front of end users physicians, nurses, distributors.

+ Provide clinical support to physicians as per RMS Business Unit (RMS BU) and therapies requirements to ensure safe use of RMS equipment and proper consumption of consumables.

+ Engage stakeholders responsible for patient flow to Hemodialysis centers committed with RMS MDT technologies.

+ Develop projects that address the use of our therapies for defined niche areas (i.e. public HD centers, private HD clinics).


**Relationship Management**


+ Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process of RMS equipment and disposables.

+ Coordinate and liaise activities with the Business Development Manager and relative Medtronic Business Units before delivering services within the define territory.


**Education / Training**


+ Educate referring physicians on clinical evidence of defined therapies demonstrating improved patient outcomes. Foster brand loyalty by selling Medtronic products, therapies and services which enable referring physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

+ Conduct peer-to-peer trainings and generate interest for HD therapies training for health care practitioners and distributors within define territory.

+ Develop pool of Medtronic RMS loyal key opinion leaders faculty.


**Internal and administrative**


+ Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion using defined tools like for example salesforce.com.

+ Reports immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risksetc.).

+ Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e. sales out reports, sales forecasts, distributor stock reports, etc.). Provides minimum, but regular activity report to Business Development Manager.

+ Attends all required regional and national meetings.


**JOB PERFORMANCE:**


+ Deliver defined sales targets.

+ Maintain and grow market share within strategic accounts.

+ Works effectively across-boundaries.


**Must Haves:**


+ University degree or a Higher Education according local standards

+ Proven track record of experience in sales in the healthcare industry or similar

+ Proven track record of delivering results

+ Experience in working effectively with distributors, physicians, nurses and hospital technicians.


**Nice to Haves:**


+ Degree in medical science or engineering

+ Prior sales and marketing experience in the defined regions: South

+ Experience in operating in a matrix environment


**Skills/Competencies:**


+ Sound Account Management skills

+ Consultative selling

+ Negotiation

+ Competency to build strong business relationship with internal and external customers

+ Good command of English (both written and spoken)

+ Full clean driving license

+ Computer literacy
