The Pain Therapies business offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to make a mark and be a significant contributor to our business growth. With huge revenue growth potential within a competitive market, we are looking for an individual who can seek opportunities and secure long term business and customer partnerships,

Therefore, the purpose of the Pain Therapies Strategic Account Manager will be to establish long term mutually beneficial partnerships with strategic Pain Therapy accounts. The role will align Medtronics unique product and solutions portfolio with the key customer challenges and strategic priorities through long term commercial partnerships. The Pain Therapies Strategic Account Manager will work closely with the Pain Therapies sales team to define the most appropriate account plans and coordinate team effort in the execution of establishing and securing long term customer partnerships and business commitments.

Customer base will include key clinical and non-clinical decision makers who can influence product choice, patient pathway management, service efficiencies, patient access to our therapies and those with the ability to commit to long term strategic partnerships

**Main job duties/responsibilities**

Drive Pain Therapies care continuum transformation including services solutions offerings and developing long term contracts

Lead change within the Pain Therapies business to a future based on long term commercial partnerships by differentiating Medtronic Pain Therapies through an understanding of key stakeholder needs across the Pain continuum and deploying bespoke service and solutions capabilities

Be the hospital solutions link and expert within Pain Therapies forming strong working relationships with the local IHS team whilst generating commercial opportunities in collaboration with the IHS and RTG KAM teams

Accountable for defining and executing Pain Therapies Strategic Account Management from strategy to execution in specified accounts by working closely with the sales and technical teams

Identify business opportunities within strategic accounts and coordinate with the sales team to execute and accelerate closing these opportunities by managing project teams

Be the commercial point person for specified Top and Develop accounts and interface with key management, procurement, operational and clinical stakeholders

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on identified internal projects around Value Based Healthcare

Create, coordinate, execute and track contract compliance for Key Accounts in collaboration with the sales team

Collaborate with RTG Key Account Manager to ensure Pain Therapies are included and well represented within RTG commercial initiatives

**Job qualifications, competencies and personal values**

We are looking for a candidate that has at least five years experience from a Key Account Manager position. You must have an understanding for health economics and handling complex financial deals. We see that you have experience from driving projects as well as creating good partnerships. You have a strong business and customer focus, as well as, you can identify where the business opportunities are. You should also be able to work in a complex environment such as within a Matrix company. We see that you are fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English.
