**A Day in the Life**


The Territory Manager will be responsible for assistance with surgical coverage and for building and maintaining relationships with existing spine surgeons and neurosurgeons, operating room nurses and support staff.Through their independent work, the job requires provide in-servicing to surgical staff and support groups on new and existing technologies. Work collaboratively with Regional Manager to plan territory coverage and sales strategies in Nova ScotiaandNewfoundland.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


+ Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

+ Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

+ Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

+ Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

+ Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

+ Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

+ Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including RD, Operations and Marketing.

+ Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ A Bachelors degree is required.

+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services.

+ Prior work experience within hospital operating rooms within orthopaedics and neurosurgery.


**Nice to Have**


+ Knowledge of spine and neuro anatomy and/or surgical procedures an asset.

+ Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

+ Understands the importance of teamwork.

+ Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people and personalities.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and evenings and being on call.
