**A Day in the life**


The ENT Territory Manager will achieve and ideally exceed territory sales revenue and growth targets for Medtronic ENT. They will support Medtronic ENT sales, business development and marketing strategies and practice professional and effective territory management including organisation, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control. This role will offer the opportunity to be trained and gain experience in supporting our market leading technology across a broad range of ENT procedures. **Key responsibilities include:**


+ Develop and implement sales and call plans for specified territory as part of national strategy. Provide meaningful reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

+ Apply Strategic Selling approach and methodologies for high end capital sales to convert and realise funnel opportunities.

+ Drive pre-sale product evaluations of products in the territory.

+ Provide surgical coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting.

+ Maintain and update client information and activity in customer relationship database.

+ Actively utilize sales force effectiveness (SFE) processes for planning, delivering and analyzing sales calls.

+ Expand the customer base and sales by establishing regular contact with key surgeons, technical staff and administration personnel

+ Ensure the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. Understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the companys products.

+ Ensure customers and prospective customers are technically competent through on-site and other education events.

+ Encourage team environment by offering support in other territories as needed.

+ Deliver sales forecast and funnel updates to Regional Sales Manager.

+ Communicate marketing plans / intelligence / competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, and information regarding product price or account activity to relevant head office staff.

+ Other duties as assigned/requested by management.

+ Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand

+ Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock

+ Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry


**Must Have:**


+ Extensive sales experience in medical devices/Capital Sales preferred; demonstrated success in developing and closing new business opportunities, including negotiations

+ Theatre clinical or sales experience highly regarded

+ Strongly preferred: prior sales experience with medical capital equipment (e.g. x-ray, CT, MRI); Experience with image-guided surgery.

+ ENT Experience Preferred

+ Proven sales and negotiations experience

+ Success in growing share in mature market

+ Ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships throughout a customer organization, at all levels

+ Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Professional presentation / presence.

+ The ability to interact and participate in a team environment, whilst also working autonomously.

+ A self-motivated and positive attitude

+ The ability to build credible relationships with all key stakeholders, including specialists, customers and peers

+ Effective time management and organizational skills.

+ Tertiary qualifications essential (Nursing, Science, Business preferred.) Post Grad qualifications highly regarded.
