Responsibilities

Successful candidates must:

  • Evaluate technologies for future fulfillment of system baselines requirements e.g. Technology adoption models, Hype models etc.
  • Employ methodologies and techniques to assess technology maturity and provide recommendations in the form of a Technology Maturity Assessment
  • Conduct analysis of alternative and provide technology insertion recommendations
  • Coordinate both internally and externally with NGA segments and IC partners to ensure NSG enterprise baseline maturity alignment, and all test data and resources are identified and available for events/activities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead or participate in the development of radar technology insertion processes that will test, verify and validate new capabilities to inform investment decisions
  • Assess new technologies and their overall performances
  • Conduct analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations
  • Leverage experience to provide insight on the development of key technical products, such as CONOPS, capability roadmaps and white papers
  • Leverage experience to identify, track, mitigate and resolve technical risk and issues

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 6 to 18+ years Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) experience (e.g., capabilities implementation, testing and integration, system transition and SLC process experience), with a minimum of 10 years of recent agency-specific experience
  • Experience applying trade study or trade-off study analysis and methodologies
  • Experience employing methodologies for assessing technology maturity
  • Working knowledge of NSG and NTM systems and interfaces (e.g., TPED, GIMS Cedalion, IEC, Exploit or NCL)
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the interdependencies on NSG ground capabilities
  • Knowledge of NSG change management processes (e.g., RFC process)

Desired Qualifications:

  • MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline
  • IT credentials and certifications (e.g., DAWIA, PMP, INCOSE, ITIL, CISSP and SAFe Agile)
