Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Specialist must have at least 3-5 years customer Disaster Recovery (DR) experience, setting up of DR testing environments and supporting customers through their DR testing objectives and goals on multiple platforms (System p/System x/System z/System i), Local Area Network (LAN) skills specifically on Cisco switches, Storage Area Network (SAN) skills specifically on Brocade SAN switches and Storage System skills specifically on SVC/V7000 storage system and DS5100 storage systems.

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for:
- The overall delivery and satisfaction of the client with all aspects of services provided by IBM RS as defined in the contract.
- Daily management of tasks from both an IBM and client perspective.
- Acting as IBM's single point of contact for delivery within the client.
- Owning and managing customer satisfaction, which will be a key performance area for the role.
- Ensuring the quality of service is managed and improved on an ongoing basis.
- Driving and managing service quality and improvement of service delivery processes.

The Technical Specialist must be effective in teaming with other sales and technical resources both internal and external to IBM, to provide complete solutions to the customer's business requirements. They will be responsible for supporting customers in the Work Area Recovery environments during testing and when they invoke so will also require excellent problem resolution skills. The role will require the candidate to have good interpersonal skills and they must be able to work in conjunction with the solution design and other technical resources to define suitable customer solutions.



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3 years experience in implementation and operational experience on multiple platforms like System p ,System i ,Desktop - Work and rea Recovery.
At least 3 years experience in Client-facing experience.
At least 3 years experience in Delivery experience.
English: Fluent



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 5 years experience in implementation and operational experience on multiple platforms like System p ,System i ,Desktop - Work and rea Recovery.
