  • Think differently about common industry problems, and create innovative solutions to shift an entire industry in a new direction.
  • Define and design ground-breaking IoT architectures using Cisco hardware and software in different ways.
  • Captivate and hold engaging, dynamic and technology-centric workshops designed to move a customer from wish list to solution architecture.
  • Speak on topics in areas of expertise at customer events, industry events, and symposiums.
  • Architect compelling pilots and concise, mind-changing demos using Cisco, partner, and customer technology to showcase the power of Cisco and IoT.
  • Celebrate and be rewarded for customer-focused technical prowess and expertise!
  • Become a trusted advisor to the customer decision makers

Your focus will be designing solutions using Cisco's portfolio of IoT hardware and software products to meet customer's business requirements. 

Who You'll Work With

You, as an IoT Technical Solutions Architect, will drive new sales opportunities while working with Cisco account teams, channel partners, and end customers to grow IoT sales revenue. Youll work as a leader, collaboratively, across different business units, sales organizations, industry verticals and customer teams to build elegant IoT solutions!

  • You are a savvy technical sales engineer who loves solving problems for customers.
  • You a thinker, a creator, a leader, a maker when it comes to technical support.
  • You dont rest until you tackle the customer problem and the deal is won.
  • Youre passionate about working with bleeding-edge IoT hardware and software technologies. You are an expert in routing and switching pre-sales activities.
  • You love to work day and night supporting your sales partner (PSS) and working hand-in-hand with Product Management
  • You feel very comfortable in fast changing environments and youre good in ambiguous situations.
  • You have high energy, a can-do attitude. You never break down and resilience is your 2nd name.
  • You have a start-up mentality in heart, youre ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done regardless of your assigned grade or task.

Required Skills:

  • You have a strong background in technology from an IT or industry perspective. 
  • You have deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas - Industrial Ethernet switches, routers, access points, IoT edge computing and data management, cellular connectivity management and video surveillance solutions
  • Expert in an overlay sales role, or are open to it
  • You have experience working with large Cisco partners
  • You have cross industry experience - in particular Public Sector, Education, Transportation, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Smart Cities, and/ or Healthcare expertise
  • You are open to working remotely, selling via WebEx video conferencing sessions, and traveling up to 50% 
  • You have been part of a direct sales team, supporting a carrying quota account manager.

Desired Skills:

  • IoT Expert worked for 5+ years in the IoT hardware, software, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in systems-engineering being in front of customers and Partners every single day.
  • Experience working/ jointly selling with channel partners and system integrators.
  • Knowledge of the industrial networking and physical security competitive landscapes
  • You have worked at both start-ups and large enterprise organizations.
