The Consumer Centralized SDEIII team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help grow and scale hiring across our Consumer TA team. The Recruiter will be aligned to the Consumer business working closely with business leaders and CTA leadership to drive a recruiting strategy; including requirements gathering, process improvement for interviewing and closing candidates.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective SDEIII passive sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
  • Recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical skills and chemistry of candidates for fit, and to understand candidate motivation.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates, and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Articulate in writing a sourcing plan with deliverable, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
  • Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline to support hiring goals.

· Bachelor€™s degree or equivalent experience
· 4+ years of experience closing candidates and negotiating offers
· 4+ years of corporate and/or search firm progressive technical recruiting experience
· 3+ years of experience of managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships as well as building reports and utilizing a variety of recruiting plans and tools
· MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, and Outlook


· Ability to generate a high volume of high quality talent
· Demonstrated creativity in delivering against strategic sourcing initiatives for technologists and engineering profiles
· Thinks strategically and stays on top of tactical execution
· Results oriented
· Ability to train, coach, co-manage teams of successful and talented individuals
· Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment
· Experience with developing strong relationships with recruiters, managers, business partners and candidates
· Strong business acumen - understanding how to balance business needs and candidate experience
