What You'll Do

The Workforce Experience team within the Digital Enterprise Solutions, is responsible for providing a world-class employee experience so that Cisco can continue to be ranked highly as one of the best places to work (#1 in 2019, 2020). One of the foundational pillars of that experience is for employees to have access to secure, easy to use and rationalized application portfolio.

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be a key member of our agile engineering teams & solutions in partnership with our HR digital team. This high energy, fun culture team recently implemented Workday@Cisco! In the next 2 years we will grow our Workday footprint & talent investment with the priority of the best employee experience.

  • You are the connection between our engineers & business partners
  • You will listen, understand & learn the business processes in order to help drive the team
  • You have a dedication to our stakeholders in partnership & relationships
  • You will manage and coordinate technical programs
  • You help driving business priorities with the engineering scrum team
  • You will develop detailed program plans using agile methodologies
  • You can identify and implement processes and governance to improve service quality and operational excellence

Who You'll Work With

The People Experience Technical team is responsible for all end-to-end processes and systems that support our workforce from Hire to Retire. Working closely with our partners, People & Communities (HR), Employee Experience & corporate systems like finance, payroll & compensation, this team will take the employee experience for all of Cisco to world-class levels - and show our customers and partners what is possible!

You are a gifted, experienced, and self-motivated professional who has a real passion for team cultural & technology. You enjoy understanding business problems and driving technical solutions that are designed with the employee experience in mind. Systems & technology is in your DNA. You eat, sleep, & love delivering quality products to your stakeholders. You want to have fun at work & enjoy your teammates!

Minimum requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3-5 Years experience in software related projects
  • Experience in agile methodologies is required
  • Experience with SDLC & release standards
  • Solid skills in building relationships & mentoring dual success
  • Team play, drives the team, is empathic leader in projects
  • Understanding of Workday HCM Fundamentals a major plus
  • Background in HR processes or tools highly desired
  • Excited about agile software engineering practices
  • Strong desire to deliver engineering discipline in every product
  • Highly motivated, driven, independent working, results oriented and passionate in delivering business value
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Collaborative and open style with a constructive and positive demeanor
