This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2020/10/nand-memory-news-q-a.pdf). The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs (Solid-State Drives), in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

Come join our team as a Technical Program Manager and work on one of the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology portfolios in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses many industry-leading SSD technologies including the most capable Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

This position aligns to that transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Transition is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.

  • This position leads a matrixed, cross-functional team contained within a larger organization that is directly tied to the development, implementation, or upgrade of technology or products for external customers. One or more cross-functional, matrixed team members is a manager and/or a technical lead and guides the performance of functional teams.
  • Manages Projects or Programs where consistent decisions are made regarding the overall goals and objectives of significant programs or segments of the organization through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. Has decision-making authority at the program level.
  • Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of project/program decisions and operates within the guardrails, is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally.
  • Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
  • Oversees the identification of tasks and research, dependencies, and costs and communicates expectations to core team members.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Be the accountable owner for the Validation roadmap programs and projects, One Voice to Stakeholders, and delivering quality program and project results.
  • The scope of work includes the following: Define and plan the validation program to satisfy the Data Center NAND strategic product roadmap and exceed customer quality expectations.
  • Represent Validation as the "One Voice" with stakeholders through data-driven, transparent interactions.
  • Own refining and improving value-driven processes (activities) and outcomes (i.e. Quality Release Criteria) that strengthen Validation capabilities for sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Manage the Validation Lifecycle to ensure results are aligned with expected benefits.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor´s Degree Electronical Engineering, Computer Science or related (Documentation related to bachelor's degree completion will be required).
  • Advanced English level.
  • Hardware/Software Program Management experience.
  • Possess a basic understanding of technical concepts, hardware architecture, systems and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master´s Degree Electronical Engineering, Computer Science or related.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt - 6 Sigma.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) - Project Management Institute.
  • Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Project Management Institute.
