Technical Program Manager, AWS Certification Practice Products

In this role, you will join the team responsible for the creation of best-in-class practice exams and questions for AWS Certification customers. You will work with and help to recruit subject matter experts to create the exam preparation content. You will leverage your AWS knowledge to refine and edit practice exam questions and help to develop and support practice labs.
Travel may be required up to 25% of your time.
This position must be based near a US AWS office.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage the creation of practice product questions and the publication of practice products, including holding item development workshops, facilitating technical review, coordinating localization and publication, and managing the quality assurance process.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to review project deliverables and ensure completion.
- Review and edit technical content development by Subject Matter Experts
- Provide influence, direction and guidance to ensure the development and release of high-quality practice exams.
- Provide technical guidance for integration of the learning platform with practice exams and labs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor (undergraduate) degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineer, Security, or others) OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of technical program management experience OR 3 years of technical program management experience and 3+ years of experience in a relevant field
- Deep understanding of both business picture (technologies, customer experience), and technical details of AWS Services (architecture, dependency impacts, performance, availability)
- Ability to communicate and discuss deep technical content with Subject Matter Experts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Meets/exceeds Amazons leadership principles requirements for this role
- Technical writing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- At least one AWS Associate-level or higher Certification
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $108,700 - $149,500 annually. Our range of benefits may include health care, employee discounts, 401(k) savings plans, paid time off, and more. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via Amazons internal or external careers site.
