Seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual who will provide support to a Technical Operations Team in geographically focused Center. You will work directly with Tech Ops Specialists by assist with the overall management of Technical Operations; ensuring alignment with strategic efforts and special projects. You will have exposure to a multitude of operations and technologies that enable multiple missions. In addition, this role will also have a strong partnership with senior management responsible of the execution of technical operations.

You will act in direct support of a client; helping coordinate efforts across various missions, prepare for engagements with other clients and contractors, track and status operations, drive business rhythms and assist in the various tasks to ensure efficient execution of the mission. Ability to work in a fast-paced and geographically focused environment; learning new operations and technologies used to support them is a must. Responsibilities: This role will involve a multitude of tasks in a dynamic operational environment per the clients direction based on their current needs.

This position requires the ability to quickly develop enduring relationship with various clients from different directorates and learn but remain flexible as the operational environment changes. This person must coordinate resources and effectively communicate with various stakeholders. In addition, the role will recommend methods to improve mission efficiencies and business rhythms; anticipate tasking but remain flexible in a dynamic but evolving environment.


  • Project or operations management expertise preferably in technical and/or operational environments
  • Ability to track and coordinate operations; ability to monitor and report on cable traffic
  • Proficient in multitasking with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with and/or ability to specialize in a geographical region
  • Background in science and technology, including capability development and mission deployment
  • Extensive leadership experience coordinating and integrating across various teams
  • Managing and developing new relationships in a dynamic environment:
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter who will take ownership of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Keeping up to date on all new technologies, adapting to new trends
  • Anticipating change and constantly communicating with internal teams
  • Thrives on unconventional challenges and takes pride in solving them - Ability to grow business in adjacent mission space
  • Education
  • Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA
  • 10 to 13 years with MS/MA
  • 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
