  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers, Distributors and field based Sales Team, primarily within the Medical OEM & branded markets.
  • Run specific accounts directly via Tele-sales.

    Provide pre-sales support:

    -Processes output from transformative marketing. Take MQL and validate SQL.

    -Ensure customers are sampled and followed up within 5 working days & thereafter every 10 working days. Sample tracker should be updated.

    -Use customer information to select and size appropriate Pall Products in order to offer customer quotations.

    -Contract review of orders for correct price, part numbers and conditions.

    -Follow up quotations to secure orders.

    -Call dormant, lost and potentially new customers.

    -Provide tech support for customers and sales org & Support new project initiatives  

    Provide aftersales support:

    -Run daily management and track orders. Follow-up with customers who are falling behind forecasted pattern.

    -Customer questions/PORS & similar.

    -To assist in training and development of new or less experienced team members.

    -To help with cover of duties for the Technical Inside Sales Manager, in his absence

    -To meet the departmental and individual key performance indicators agreed with your Line Manager.

    Directly manage smaller accounts (<$100K).

    Additional:

    To ensure that all enquiries and orders are dealt with in accordance with the quality manual.

    To maintain records of activities and store them within the appropriate system databases.

    To provide cover for other Internal Sales Engineers in their absence.

    • Comprehensive product knowledge, particularly for Medical/Biotech/ Diagnostic marketplaces.
    • Important that the Engineer can converse technically with customers and colleagues about the divisional activity, i.e. requirements of the industry, use of filters within the Industry, Technical and Commercial issues regarding filtration.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by telephone is essential.
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
    • A positive attitude with the ability to embrace change within a busy sales office environment, and take ownership of issues until fully resolved.
    • To work safely and to comply with the company€™s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. (Mandatory- Do not Remove)
    • Ensure that the compliance policy is always strictly adhered to in everyday activities and any non-compliance is reported immediately.
    • To ensure all compliance training is completed and kept fully up to date, paying particularly attention to the integrity based training modules.
