**_The Document Master Central (DMC)_** _is building a new team to help operational line of businesses to simplify and standardize the way they manage documents through automating critical processes and digitizing documents using Artificial Intelligence (machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing - classification, extraction). DMC is part of the Innovation Lab at Citi Information Services Group (ISG). Our mission is to simplify and deliver to our clients with speed and agility generating superb client experience._

Document Master Central improves how Citi serves their clients for searching documents and associating data elements and document types across multiple repositories. Using Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning models, Natural Language Processing, through platform that understands structured and unstructured data and automates business processes.

**The Technical Business Analyst in DMC will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, planning, and delivering requirements of the Citi strategic data and document management platforms used by the Institutional Clients Group in Citi, using innovative custom modules and vendor solutions to solve complex document extraction and classification problems for the Citi ISG and Innovation Lab with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The team is looking for an individual candidate who is talented, creative, and experienced Technical Business Analyst, who will work with R&D teams, the business, Citi remote teams and stakeholders through design, development and implementation delivering to the highest standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of key Document Technology Centralization requirements and will be responsible for all phases of the product delivering requirements and working with NLP vendor teams to provide cutting edge solutions through Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, digitization, and automation.**

The Technical Business Analyst will analyze, assess, and develop Document Technology Centralization requirements while working in partnership with all Line of Business, technology units within ISG and Citi Innovation Labs. This requires a highly experienced Business Analyst who has a proven track record of delivering requirements for AI models for highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.


+ You must be someone who has love of all things data, possess an analytical mind, have good problem-solving skills, and the ability to see and work towards the bigger picture.

+ You will be expected to operate at a conceptual level, contributing to the overall strategy and be its advocate, communicating and discussing it with stakeholders across multiple business functions to highlight and address implications of data models and how they are utilized across the board

+ You should be proficient in modelling and requirements gathering while keeping in mind the holistic view of a business problem or challenge. Understand business process and flow diagrams

+ Analyse documents used in various banking operations to identify and transform findings into data models. Construct data modules to create JSON schema. Review, analyse, streamline, and structure JSON data models and schema.

+ Support BAU activities to maintain and update existing application configurations, data models and attributes by analysing and routing requests from business functions across the organisation

+ Support the Product Manager/Owner with the analysis and design of the next generation of Document Technology Centralization in-line with the overall strategic vision and goals of DMC and ISG at large using the Agile methodology. Planning product roadmap, own and manage product backlog - setting priorities and product maturity standards.

+ Stay up to date with new requirement management, development methodologies, tools and strategies

+ Work in collaboration with other technology groups to provide world class solutions

+ Defining user stories, personas, user scenarios, product requirements & specifications

+ Providing efficient inputs into the technical analysis of features, development, and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects

+ Empower automation efforts across Citi organizations ensuring scale and efficiencies are achieved.

+ Work with a geographically distributed technology team to ensure that the requirements / business needs are well understood, and the solution developed are in line with the requirements.

+ Meet customer requirements with least amount of rework and high amount of test coverage in the least amount of time

+ Identify existing system bottlenecks and deficiencies, devise and assist in implementing robust solutions to address these shortcomings.

+ Identify, analyze, evaluate, communicate, and overcome product issues and risks. Propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the development of technology to the current business environment.

+ Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives

+ Act as a subject matter expert and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

+ Manage both functional and technical requirements while deciding on technical solutions.

**Mandatory Skills**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math or equivalent

+ 5 years Technical Business Analysis and/or Product Management experience in Software Development organizations

+ 5 years of experience of requirements elicitation, requirements management, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation

+ Create user stories, process and data flows, and business rules to clearly communicate requirements that accurately represent the ask and potential solution options for a project/initiative

+ Hands on experience breaking down business requirements into clearly documented processes and dependencies

+ 5+ years of Agile experience, such as (but not limited to) acting as a product owner, helping manage, prioritize, and grooming a backlog of user stories and epics

+ Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic with a go-getter mindset, innovative, takes initiatives and proactive, quick learner - Ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry

+ Excellent communication skills oral, written, interpersonal / time management, presentation skills. Ability to explain complex requirements in simple words.

+ Great analytical skills

+ Proficient using JIRA to track requirements / stories

+ Understand data structures, such as JSON data, Proficiency in SQL & Data visualization tools

+ Familiarity with data structures (b-tree, linked list, hash) and algorithms (sort, merge, b-search)

+ Knowledge of Java

+ Experience using machine learning techniques to analyze and classify documents

+ Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones

+ Good team player and works collaboratively. Promotes teamwork and maintains effective communication within and across groups

**Nice to have Skills**

+ Master of Business Administration

+ Masters in engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent

+ Lean Six Sigma

+ Technical background in Machine Learning, Interaction Systems, Data Analytics, NLP based system

+ Experience in working in a multicultural organization

+ Experience of relevant financial background of capital markets or regulatory background

+ Banking or financial services experience
