Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Talent Acquisition Operations Leader, who will oversee the critical systems, processes and training that support the effective and efficient day-to-day functions supporting Americas Talent Acquisition Organization. This technology savvy manager will be a strategic leader and tactical operator that will drive process improvements using six sigma methodologies, create communications strategies and action plans, overseeing upgrades/changes to ATS and standardizing reports and metrics to support an advancing Talent Acquisition function. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, thrive in an environment of change, and has a passion for process improvement. This position can be located anywhere in the Americas

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Process Improvement:

  • Identify high impact areas to improve process efficiencies and manage projects to drive continuous process improvement through well-developed change management skills

  • Function as a highly effective change manager and interface with key stakeholders

  • As part of the TA Leadership Team, ensure all efforts are on track and align with the objectives of the HR Organization.

  • Be the POC for all policies and procedures, documenting and communicating change, and staying up to date with advancements from various stakeholders such as Legal and Enterprise TA.

  • Supports activities to ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.

  • Organize TA leadership meetings and follow-up communications on action items, procedures, policies and initiatives.

  • Create and manage a system of document control to support all processes and policies

  • Systems Management:

  • Liaise with global recruitment teams in support of change management to process and technology

  • Manages reporting and analytics TA SME to ensure comprehensive and targeted data is accurately reported for both the TA organization and the business, to include tailoring reports to meet the changing requirements of both in user-friendly, graphically represented formats.

  • Supports and governs the TA system changes and enhancements by working with vendors and key stakeholders; seek out and evaluate new tools and technologies to support recruiting initiatives in collaboration with the TA Technology SME

  • Oversee and support the development of training programs and materials through the implementation of new programs, processes and technology platforms.

  • Oversee the deployment and utilization of new recruiting tools, invoices, job boards and vendor relations.

People Management:

  • Develop and implement onboarding program for all TA staff for the Americas

  • Liaise with all HR and business stakeholders and update all organizational contact information

  • Oversee communications platforms to keep TA up to date on organizational, technology, and process changes

  • Support TA Director on budgetary accountability for the overall TA program.

  • Oversee the deployment and utilization of new recruiting tools, invoices, job boards and vendor relations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience:

  • BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or

  • AA/AS (US) + 12 years of related experience or

  • Diploma/Certificate (Canada) +12 years of related experience or

  • HS/GED + 14 years of related experience; all including a minimum of 2 years of leadership

  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and reporting skills as well as expertise in strategic sourcing, candidate assessment and selection methodologies, meeting State and Federal regulatory requirements

  • Outstanding project management abilities, excellent verbal/written communications skills, as well as strong analytical skills and excellent judgment

  • High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Operating experience within a complex, changing environment

  • Ability to multi-task with a developed sense of urgency and follow-through

  • Proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, administration, reasoning and decision making skills

  • Ability to engage and influence others at multiple levels of the organization

  • Dedication to follow-up with strong customer service approach that is results-oriented

  • Expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations including active listening

  • Taking prompt, self-directed action to accomplish objectives

  • Facilitating the development of others knowledge and skills

  • Excellent computer systems and applications skills (MS Office, ATS)
