Responsibilities

Responsible for translating the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

The successful candidate will have experience in fundamental Systems Integration disciplines or previous experience as a Systems Integrator with proven performance working with diverse customers in dynamic and evolving engineering environments. The candidate will provide Systems Integration support for the customers Front Office and will work collaboratively across Groups, Divisions and Branches to facilitate the organizations strategic and tactical objectives. The SI will be responsible for developing program and project documentation, facilitating action closure, coordinating strategic plans, facilitating tactical execution of budgets, gap analysis and program/project metrics. They will be responsible for integration but also horizontal organization and coordination across the program and customer enterprise. The SI will be able to work multiple priority projects in parallel and facilitate comprehensive boards and reviews.

The SI must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with a variety of customers (technical, managerial, financial, and administrative) to implement complex technical, organizational and logistical strategies. The SI will be required to work with senior and junior personnel in a multi-disciplinary, multi-contractor environment. The selected individual should have experience with contemporary technologies, end-to-end lifecycle activities, budgeting, CM/baseline control, project management, planning, and metrics/analytics.

The SI must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to demonstrate interpersonal communication skills to foster collaboration and integration. With oversight, the SI will be relied on to author and update project management plans, project documentation and briefing slides. They will be responsible for assisting in the development of strategic planning documentation. The SI should be able to work independently with some management oversight into tasking and deliverables.

Specific task responsibilities include:

  • Provide cross-program SI collaboration/support to other elements of the Program
  • Work collaboratively with government customers and leadership to set priorities, implement tasking, and provide deliverables that are compliant with project schedules, priorities, and standards
  • Serve as the primary interface to the customers senior leadership team and provide status reporting for both internal and external actions and needs
  • Facilitate and lead process improvement sessions with government, industry, and contractor support personnel across multiple domains
  • Provide support to enterprise action tracking and closure
  • Provide support to the implementation of programs and projects while executing against a strategic plan.
  • Provide multi-disciplinary integration support to several projects while planning, executing, monitoring/controlling tasks to closure.

Qualifications

Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.

  • Clearance required: TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Relevant experience working with senior leaders or customers
  • Experience capturing, documenting and providing actionable metrics to senior leaders
  • Previous experience leading boards, forums, control gates or other similar enterprise activities
  • Demonstrated ability to author comprehensive briefing slide decks and provide communication and planning support to key presentations
  • Demonstrated experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
