The IIS site in Richardson, Texas has many exciting programs currently under development in the C2, Space and Intelligence (CSI) Product Line. The Systems Engineering and Integration Test (SEIT) organization support these programs with the generation of concept development, trade studies, systems requirements analysis, systems architecture development, systems integration, and requirements verification.
The CSI SEIT team is responsible for full life cycle engineering for government applications which are primarily on classified programs that support the intelligence community. Capabilities include ground systems for GEOINT and SIGINT systems, large-scale data processing and exploitation storage architectures and high performance data handling and processing systems. Additionally, CSI provides expertise in large-scale systems development, integration and deployment of high performance SIGINT and GEOINT systems, missions and resource management, information management, visualization, knowledge discovery and advanced analytics.
This position is a developmental role for an Entry Level Systems Engineer with the technical and communication knowledge, along with the basic skills, needed to support ongoing and emerging programs. This role provides ample room for growth and learning opportunities. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge to support requirement analysis and hierarchical decomposition, development of system architecture and assist in the planning and coordination of system delivery to customer/user site.

Clearance Requirements: Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain up to a TS/SCI clearance There is the potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $40,000. for hires with active TS/SCI or higher clearances

Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate include: Duties include correction and update of documents, contribute to presentations, support design reviews, support customer requests for information and recommend appropriate configuration, equipment and software changes to satisfy requests and system integration and test support Candidates must be professional, self-starters and possess a positive attitude Willingness to learn program/organizational processes and procedures and be willing to recommend improvements to both Required Skills: Comprehends and can utilize the Systems Development Process through system design, integration and testing Demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record Completed software development coursework and can apply basic concepts Completed and thoroughly understands coursework in basic systems engineering/systems architecture design theory & process, requirements analysis development, tractability and verification Experience in Windows and/or Linux Experience with Java skill set Desired Skills: Computer Science and Software Engineering backgrounds Previous internship experience Coursework on technical writing, modern application architectures or methodologies Good oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Education Requirements: 2 years with a BS/BA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
