**A Day in the Life**


As a Systems Engineer II
in the Surgical Robotics Operating Unit, you will work on innovative,
lifesaving technology at the forefront of medical device development. You will
play an active role in administering systems engineering processes across the Surgical
Robotics Operating Unit and maintaining systems engineering best practices. You
will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the development and review
of an expansive set of engineering requirements. You will actively collaborate
with cross functional teams to triage and disposition product issues and new
product development.


Working from home and in
the Medtronic offices in the Seaport District of Boston, MA, you are
responsible for supporting product development activities across the surgical
robotics program. In this role you will:


+ Administer requirements management systemincluding training new users, maintaining credentials, and managing programwide settings

+ Conduct requirement change, review, andreconciliation process

+ Maintain consistency and conformity ofrequirements across multiple projects

+ Generate and maintain requirements statusmetrics and dashboards

+ Administer issue and change resolution processincluding triage, root cause analysis, and scoping

+ Perform analyses and report on issue and changestatus

+ Perform functional decomposition and performanceanalysis to guide design inputs development


**Minimum Qualifications**


+ Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or an advanced degree and 0 years of experience


**Strongly Preferred**


+ Bachelors degree in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline

+ Strong understanding of medical device industry and regulatory requirements for class II and Class III devices

+ Working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes include requirements development, functional analysis, and verification and validation


**Nice to have:**


+ Familiarity and experience coding software or scripting languages

+ Familiarity and experience with team collaboration tools such as Jira, Jama, Oracle Agile, Confluence, etc.

+ Demonstrated data analytic and reporting experience such as dashboard maintenance, key performance metric reporting, etc.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Experience working with cross functional teams

+ Demonstrated ability to drive complex tasks to completion


**Working Conditions:**


Work-from-Home and Standard Office setting in Boston, MA. Some limited travel may be required.
