What Youll Do

In this role, you will handle direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in an assigned geography. You will focus on technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects and assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. Other essential activities include:

  • Staying up-to-date on Cisco Unified Wired and Wireless Solution, Unified Communication and Collaboration Solution, Data Center Switching and Unified Computing Solution, Enterprise Security and Threat Management Solutions, Smart-City and Safe-City/Campus Solutions
  • You will Showcase Cisco Product Offerings as per customers business challenges and requirement
  • Setting up demonstrations and conducting technology workshops for customers
  • Articulating features and benefits of Cisco Products and Solutions to customers
  • Working on competitive landscape of Cisco Product and Solutions

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Cisco Public Sector Systems Engineering Team. You will partner with our Account Manager(s), Business Development Managers, Product Sales Executives or Specialists of your account/territory/patch. You will work with partners and customers to ensure the best possible solution. We provide best and optimized solutions to the clients in the area of Smart-cities and IOT and other IT infrastructure components.

Who You Are

A passionate and performing individual who works for a collaborative experience for Cisco and the client, and who is passionate about new technologies. You are a true teammate and love to learn. Besides this, it is expected that you have:

  • B.E or B. Tech. (EE/CS) degree or equivalent with at least 10-12 years with related experience on Cisco products Or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in similar domain
  • Should have at least 5-7 years of Pre-Sales experience
  • Should have knowledge on baseline SE skills and in-depth knowledge and experience in the architectures.
  • You will have knowledge of relevant solutions sets, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications
  • Should also have high-reaching knowledge (in their area of specialization) including solution, technology and product offerings
  • Should be able to understand and converse about company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Should have excellent written, verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills for effective consultative selling
  • Ability to work effectively, contribute to the team and assume a lead role whenever required
  • Assist partner with technical presentations of Cisco solution and services options to customer
  • Support tactical opportunities and adapt existing Cisco solutions that address a specific customer or partner need. Encourage partner alignment around Cisco solutions and Solution architecture offerings.
