Introduction
The Systems Services Representative - Advisory (Enterprise Environment) is primarily responsible to perform post sale maintenance and services for IBM and other vendor equipment at IBM customer locations. For this Job, is mainly focus on LinuxOne operation and support, with the capability on Linux installation and operation.


Your Role and Responsibilities
The Systems Services Specialist - Advisory (Enterprise Environment) is primarily responsible to perform post sale maintenance and services for IBM and other vendor equipment at IBM customer locations. For this Job, is mainly focus on LinuxOne operation and support, with the capability on Linux installation and operation and OSS knowledge.

Role and Responsibilities
Acts as a technical interface to customers for Linux/OSS software support and the delivery of operational services as required by the customer. Performs technical service and/or post sale support for hardware/software. Performs services activities including systems assurance, installation team, account management, basic problem determination and major account/production management. Using established and varied techniques and procedures, performs problem determination and problem solving to resolve customer hardware and software operational situations.

Accountable to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with maintenance service delivery, technical support and availability management.

Has a significant understanding of and is able to articulate IBM's technical support delivery methodology, particularly as it relates to base and enhanced support. Responsible for the technical value relationship by providing technical expertise to protect revenue base and generate new services business.

As a local technical experts in complex hardware and software problems especially on Linus related products.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
1. Bachelor's or master's degree on computer science or electric engineering, with relevant experience in IBM High End Power or Mainframe servers is preferred;
2. At least 3~5 years of work experience; can lead the team's colleagues to complete the service work of enterprise - level customers;
3. Ability to solve difficult and complex problems independently;
4. Have a good reading and writing skills in both Chinese and English;
5. Familiar with the maintenance or operating system operation and system management on Linux/OSS.
6. Be enthusiastic on teamwork and have good learning ability.
7. Can accept appropriate overtime work and certain travel frequency.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Implementation experiences and mutual trouble shooting skill with any of below :
-Redhat Enterprise Linux server base products(RHEL, OpenStack,Openshift, Gluster Storage, Ceph Storage)
-Suse enterprise Linux server OS or other major distribution Linux OS
-Openstack with KVM, Kubernets with Docker, or
-PostgreSQL/MySQL, Mongo DB or Oracle DB
-Zabbix or Nagios
-Apache Tomcat, ActiveMQ
-Puppet, Ansible or other major automation products
-Certificates of Redhat, Suse, or Oracle will be recommended
