SVP Program Manager

Manage and lead the development of Cards acquisition marketing strategy, creative communication and execution for all Co-brand products marketed via the direct mail channel; manage the strategy and campaign execution for Cards email channel. Drive innovative thinking among cross-functional teams to develop revenue generating acquisition offers. Work with analytic partners to leverage data to model/segment prospects to enhance targeting abilities and differentiate products and offers. Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as Co-brand partners, internal analytical teams (Risk, Decision Management, Finance) and Legal to increase alignment on key initiatives that drive expansion opportunities including enhanced underwriting, targeting abilities, and customer experience. Spearhead and execute projects that increase efficiency and simplify processes. Continuously improve marketing communication through simple and strong messaging that resonates with prospects. Manage full-year forecasting (FYF) processes for monthly campaigns and their investment and acquisition incentive costs. Track account targets to determine impact and effectiveness of new account strategies.


+ Manage Co-brand Acquisitions direct mail which will support financial and account targets to attract profitable and engaged customers.

+ Motivate and lead a high performing team. Develop team to enhance performance and help career progression while building a positive and team-oriented environment.

+ Build partnerships with cross functional teams and Co-brand Partners to drive business opportunities

+ Communicate and reflect latest business strategies and investment needs and integrate them into P&Ls.

+ Identify creative ways to materially increase channel effectiveness through offer optimization, creative investment efficiency and simplification.

+ Drive broader strategic approach dialogue to identify and execute tests (targeting, offer, marketing communication, etc.) that will provide greater insights to improve performance.

+ Monitor campaign performance and analytics to create data driven strategies

+ Help design and monitor critical channel processes and procedures. Ensure 100% successful completion rate of any/all audits (both internal and external)

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 8+ years Marketing experience, which may have included development of product/offer strategy or management of platform/channel targeting prospects and/or existing customers. Direct mail/email and Retail bank/financial services industry experience is preferred.

+ Requires advanced project management skills, exemplary communication/presentation skills, and problem-solving skills.

+ Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and drive solutions to complex business challenges.

+ Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and to facilitate the overall growth of the Citi Cards franchise. Strong influencing ability required.

+ Critical sense of accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture.

+ Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
