The mission of the Operations & Technology Business Risk Control (OTBRC) organization in Citi is to support the identification, assessment and management / mitigation of risk across O&T related to franchise, reputational and client risks. Within OTBRC, the EO&T MCA & Control Transformation Team is responsible for project and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with EO&T Business & Function Risk Control Leads as well as MCA & Control Framework teams

+ Provide project and change management leadership across programs, initiatives and BAU activities to successfully deliver MCA & Control projects

+ Ensure MCA & Control Framework consent order activities include clarity in roles / responsibilities and appropriately identified and engaged EO&T stakeholders

+ Plan and execute implementations to include sustainability resulting in ongoing executional excellence

+ Provide timely and effective project status updates, and as necessary escalate concerns related to program structure, insufficient accountability or other risks which may impact deliverable timeliness or quality

+ Manage project schedule and as needed, accelerate execution to address milestone delays

+ Provide leadership for timely closure and effective change management to confirm quality and adequacy of deliverables against target state, including coordination across organizations and as needed, engagement with the 2nd or 3rd line of defense

+ Understand and articulate the unique needs and risks associated with EO&T in MCA & Control meetings


+ 10+ years broad experience in operational risk and/or transformation roles including in managing large complex projects related to operational risk

+ Demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projects

+ A strong business understanding of O&T preferred

+ Understand how your work contributes to other work across Citi / understand downstream impacts of decisions made

+ General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions

+ Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts

+ Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests

+ Partner across the business in a way that demonstrates collective obligation on managing risk through appropriate controls

+ Seek out diverse perspectives and skill sets recognizing that the power of Citi is the sum of its parts

+ Constructively challenge others at all levels and across boundaries to deliver better results; invite challenge

+ Be comfortable communicating reality both positive and negative - honestly, openly and directly

+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively problem solve

+ Continuous improvement mind-set assess impact of actions and adjust as needed; simplify and standardize at every opportunity

+ Process re-engineering mind-set with ability to identify and solve for root cause rather than symptoms; address problem solving and opportunities in a holistic way/break down organization silos

+ Previous Supervisory/Management experience Is a plus


Bachelors/University degree or equivalent relevant business experience preferred
