**Job Description**

Fortune 8 CVS Health has a dynamic opportunity for a Supplier Diversity Senior Manager to join our dedicated team. In this role you will serve as the subject matter expert on all matters related to Supplier Diversity which encompasses the inclusion and use of certified Minority, Woman, LGBT, Service Disabled Veteran and Person with Disability Owned and Small Business Enterprises not only to comply with our PBM Government/State Clients, but to boost quality, brand, market share within program objectives while driving Economic Impact in the communities live and serve.

This function impacts PBM Clients Contracts that represent more than $32B in revenues and expenditures with Small and Diverse Businesses over $2B that leads to over $5.1 billion in contributions to the US economy and sustained 32,339 US jobs. The program budget is over $500,000.00 in support of Supplier Outreach, Supplier Development Initiatives and Membership fees to certifying bodies to validate diverse suppliers are certified, owned and operated by the diverse party.

Interaction includes, but is not limited to, all levels of leadership within the company as well as senior officials from local, state and federal government agencies; external media; outsourced vendors; auditors; regulators; industry trade groups and legislators.

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Develop, manage and monitor the effectiveness of Supplier Diversity Inclusion and Utilization Plans (activity logs, inclusion analysis, and good faith efforts/outreach), statistical & industry analysis, and posting spend reports for PBM Clients (Government, Employers, and/or Health Plans) and internal business units and leaders on a monthly or quarterly basis.

2. Directly supervise Supplier Diversity internal staff and advocacy memberships. This includes oversight of work activities, performance and compensation management, and program budget and expenditures determining investment decisions and sponsorship for the company.

3. Represent the company as a Subject Matter Expert at various Economic Inclusion and Supplier Diversity outreach events, building rapport and establishing relationships with key external partners such as State and Federal Minority Business Offices, NMSDC, WBENC, USHCC, USPAACC, USBLN, NGLCC, etc. Travel Required.

4. Provide direction and consultation to CVS Health Proposal, Diversity Management Leadership Council (DMLC) and inclusion strategies (Strategic Procurement and Merchandising teams) to drive performance toward set Economic Inclusion and Supplier Diversity goals and targets. Serve as Supplier Diversity technology liaison, maintaining Supplier Diversity data integrity and appropriate reporting.

5. Partner with Advocacy groups, and Academia to develop and deliver supplier development and educational assistance through an executive learning program, WebEx Seminars, Workshops and other in-person learning options help current and potential diverse suppliers gain a more competitive footing.

**Required Qualifications**

- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in a corporate setting.

- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of reporting and analysis experience.

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience in procurement best practices, including sourcing, contracting and supplier diversity commitments.

- Masters degree preferred.
