As Marketing Strategy Analyst, you will apply your unique analytical, organizational, and communications skills to define and lead strategic, high-impact projects and initiatives within the marketing organization. You will be a master of framing and executing complex analyses and distilling to actionable insights that will help maximize marketings impact and inform strategic decisions. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy, you will work closely with marketers at all levels as well as other colleagues in sales, product management, and technology depending on the nature of the project. **What You'll Do Here:** + Shape strategic projects including problem statement, framing, scope, and analytical approach + Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative analyses/modeling using inputs such as internal data, research studies, stakeholder perspectives, and external reports and benchmarks + Apply hypothesis-driven approach and structured problem solving + Synthesize findings to first and second order implications + Develop practical recommendations and implementation plans and help champion changes + Partner with project stakeholders in marketing and other functions at all stages of projects + Make recommendations to CMO and Senior Marketing Leadership team or other executive sponsor + Socialize takeaways and action plans with the broader organization Example projects: + Refine demand generation strategy to better align with business goals and best practices + Partner with Product Strategy team to redesign end-to-end Product/Go-To-Market operating model + Define joint marketing initiatives we undertake with our strategic business partners + Develop framework for understanding ROI of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns **Skills You Will Need Here:** Basic (Required) + Bachelors Degree from a top-tier institution + 2 years work experience at a top-tier strategy / management consulting firm or equivalent experience in corporate strategy or marketing strategy + Ability to tell a story through analysis and to develop innovative strategies and recommendations + Ability to structure and efficiently execute quantitative and qualitative analysis to deliver data-driven insights + Demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills to present insights and recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience in a compelling manner + Collaborative working style to drive change through influence; high EQ required to understand and work with multiple stakeholders with varied perspectives + Able to self-manage progress against milestones and deliverables with a high degree of accountability; comfortable working to a deliverable, not a time + Flexibility to wear multiple hats and switch gears quickly (e.g., from strategy to insights to operations) + An interest in B2B and B2C marketing + An interest in the education, publishing and/or technology industries + Expert Excel skills must be comfortable modeling in Excel + Expert PowerPoint skills Preferred + Exposure to / experience in marketing and/or marketing projects + Exposure to / experience with B2B and B2C companies + Exposure to / experience in education, publishing and/or technology industries + Familiarity with SQL **Requisition ID** _2018-4950_ **Job Function** _Marketing_
