  • Serve as the strategic sourcing lead within the Law, Contracts and Export Department and matrixed into the Strategic Sourcing Department supporting of strategic sourcing efforts across the business
  • Execute strategies, standard work processes, work instructions, and training in support of strategic sourcing objectives
  • Lead contract compliance decision making within cross functional teams of strategic sourcing, purchasing, engineering, and supply base management in the areas focused on various commodities and supply chain initiatives
  • Develop and influence prime contract compliant processes to meet and exceed business-wide
  • objectives within the Strategic Sourcing Department
  • Facilitate the creation and response to requests for information, requests for proposal, and requests for quotation of long term agreements
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for process improvements in support of continuous
  • improvement and lean initiatives
  • Identify strategic sourcing opportunities based on current and projected business needs
  • Coordinate and support multiple levels of sourcing activities, with emphasis on strategic long term agreements/partnerships with suppliers
  • Review, analyze, develop and negotiate multiple types of procurement contracts in various areas of business
  • Continued improvement to ensure departmental goals and metrics are established to meet company objectives
  • Apply expertise to continuously improve products, procedures and support the Director of Strategic Sourcing initiatives

    You Must Have:

    • Bachelor's Degree Required
    • Sourcing/contracting experience with a major United States Government contractor
    • 10+  years experience in a long term or strategic sourcing, contracting, procurement or Supply Chain position
