Strategic Datacenter APAC Market Development Manager


In this role, you will create a comprehensive strategy and nurture relationships with datacenter customers, system integrators and ISVs to grow the APAC datacenter business.  You will make use of your passion for innovative technologies to demonstrate how customer opportunities can be solved using Xilinx-accelerated computing solutions.

A Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For

  • Create a comprehensive strategy to win in the datacenter markets in alignment with the seven strategic workloads
  • Develop relationships and on-board independent software vendors (ISVs) and System Integrators
  • Develop a clear understanding of Xilinxs and ISV ecosystem offerings and value propositions
  • Collaborate with Xilinx and VAR sales team to identify and develop new opportunities with datacenter customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals within the customers ecosystem.
  • Ensure that goals are consistent with Xilinxs strategic direction
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned annual goals related to growing Xilinx business and the APAC datacenter ecosystem
  • Collaborate, develop and communicate strategies to appropriate sales, field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination
  • Work closely with local technical support and VAR architect teams to develop winning proposals which capture and articulate the relevant Xilinx technical and business value
  • Influencing and owning cross functional teams working to support Xilinx campaigns and initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

  • Willing to build strong, direct relationships with senior business and technical customers.
  • Communication and written skills.
  • Customer support skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (with proven track record of cross-group collaboration).
  • Willing to comprehend Xilinx offerings and datacenter customer offerings in the areas of video and imaging, data analytics, network security, high performance computing and machine learning.
  • Solving skills in challenging technical and business problems towards the benefit of the cloud service provider and Xilinx

Education Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum of 13 years of sales and/or marketing work experience (strong preference for a technical background HW/SW background), with proven career track record
