Our Environmental Services department has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary/hourly, variable shift, STOCKROOM ATTENDANT 1.

Under general supervision, the individual will:
  • Meet laundry trucks from the central laundry receive linen into appropriate staging areas
  • Collect and transport soiled linen to the soiled holding areas at the loading dock in a safe and legal manner
  • Deliver exchange carts and closets/drawers of clean linen as determined by established par levels
  • Assist in maintaining and recording the physical linen room inventory as required in Linen Helper
  • Respond to customer service calls and/or pages for clean linen deliveries and soiled linen pick-up and log to customer log sheets
  • Perform related duties as required

    High school graduation or equivalent. Six months of applicable experience may be substituted for education requirements.

    Competitive candidates for this position will exhibit clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written, have at least six months of experience in linen/laundry, and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to handle 2 heavy (300 lbs to 450 lbs) carts of linen items for delivery to areas on the units.
