Candidates with a current SCI Security Clearance eligible for up to a $20,000 sign on bonus if the clearance is confirmed and hired by IIS. The System Engineer Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on the
Sterling Program has the responsibilities that includes technical management of the overall execution of this program; adherence to the governing program engineering processes; be the IIS lead in technical meetings and technical exchanges with the Prime, program office, and the internal team; and maintain oversight of the technical baseline. The candidate will also be responsible for cost account management (CAM) duties including planning and scheduling inputs to the integrated master schedule (IMS) and management of the budget. The candidate will also conduct earned value management system (EVMS) reviews, support quarterly EAC activities and process BCRs and other CAM activities as needed. The candidate will also manage the reviews of ECR/ECPs, support the generation of ROM and Firm Proposal responses and also manage the program Risk and Opportunities. The position also includes Program Engineering duties: collecting and reporting of program metrics, management of program staff needs, supporting Engineering Bid Reviews, maintaining compliance with EPIC and collaborating with engineering discipline leads.
Required Skills:

10 years engineering experience
EVMS certification
Experience in systems engineering functions including: operations concept development, requirements management, risk management, interface definition and control
Familiarity with the software development life cycle on government programs
Proven leadership experience
Proven effective communicator (written and verbal) Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight Current TS/SCI
Desired Skills:

PM Level 6 or higher Certification
BOE Certification
Experience with formal verification and validation (IV&V) activities
Agile Development
Experience with Satellite Ground System development or Operations
Qualified Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent.
Education Requirements:
B.S./B.A. in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a Science.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
