Medtronic'sablation business focuses on liver tumor ablation which is a rapid growth part of the business growing 10% yearover year with product launches every year for the next 5 years with 50% of the growth coming from OUS markets. As the Sr. Value Stream Manager of the ablation business, you will lead and participate in thecommercialization process of the products, ensuring the successful manufacturing and key supplier management ofmeeting this demand and will be responsible for manufacturing in multiple Medtronic sites in China (SMF),Boulder, CO and Plymouth, MN. You will also manage the contract manufacturing new product development and


manufacturing in Scotland including indirect management of the Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Service,Supplier selection for NPI and financial performance and strategic implementation by Medtronic sites. Theablation business is one of the growth engine for GIH with a COP of $15M.

The Minimally Invasive Therapies Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, fastercomplication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions. RESPRIATORY, GASTROINTESTINAL INFORMATICS (RGI) offers a complete line of solutions that spans thecontinuum of care. We help with early detection and treatment of diseases, and reduce complications toaccelerate recovery from patient conditions. We focus on expanding global access to our therapies that improveclinical outcomes for gastrointestinal diseases and cancer, and patients with respiratory compromise.


**A Day in the Life**


As the Sr. Value Stream Manager you will:.


+ Develop and implement activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

+ Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

+ Plan and administer procedures and budgets.

+ Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.

+ Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.

+ Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Minimum 7+ years experience with product development and commercialization.

+ Experience and working knowledge of FDA regulations/ISO standards for medical devices

+ Track record of developing and implementing broad improvement initiatives

+ Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Lean Six Sigma knowledge and/or certification

+ Advanced degree preferred, MBA

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and positively influence strategies and outcomes.
