Position Summary: Responsible for leading the electrification efforts of going from gasoline powered hydraulic machines (i.e. small construction or turf applications) to battery electric. Integrating electric motors into a battery powered machine and leading the development of the vehicle control software.

Essential Functions: Provide technical expertise of battery powered electric machines. Support the development of the vehicle control software and modify and tune the software for improved performance. Support the development of the motor controllers and modify and tune the software for improved performance. Develops projects goals and objectives. Controls project plan by reviewing schedule, preparing status reports, monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems. Directs testing and debugging of software. Determines testing methods. Ensures documentation of all testing methods, results, and performance benchmarks.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience in battery powered vehicles or machines 4 year college degree in engineering or related field
