**A Day in The Life**


**Senior Supply Chain Specialist**


+ Achieve Inventory and related targets within the broader country and region SCM strategy

+ Ensure that inventory counts are performed at both warehouse and consignment locations consistently and in accordance to plan

+ Ensure that SAP inventory records matches with actual/physical stocks at both warehouse and consigned locations

+ Ensures on-time and complete reconciliation of inventory records for both warehouse and consigned locations

+ Ensures that timely and accurate inventory transactions are performed in both systems Medtronic SAP and partners system

+ Works and partners with stakeholders to drive accountability insofar as inventory management is concerned at both warehouse and consignment locations

+ Coordinates and works with the Field Inventory Analyst (Shared Services) to ensure inventory transaction and reconciliations are done accurately, on-time and up to date

+ Develops and implements process improvement initiatives related to and/or impacting inventory management including but not limited to:

+ Effective inventory control and management of SOGL

+ Real-time and accurate data and information capture and reporting

+ Physical inventory / cycle count efficiency and effectiveness

+ Runs the regular inventory reviews with the business teams, aligns and monitors execution of agreed action plans.

+ PAR review and adjustment

+ Expired/Short-dated stocks disposition

+ Consignment Return on Investment (CONROI)

+ Scrap, Obsolete, Gain/Loss (SOGL) management

+ Handle day-to-day business team queries on inventory and consignment issues, including resolution of raised issues and concerns

+ Regular review of performance against Inventory KPIs, targets and metrics and provides in-depth analysis of issues, root-cause analysis, proposes and executes plan of action

+ Prepares inventory and SOGL updates and reports to regional Supply Chain, the businesses and other stakeholders as required

+ Deliver an excellent level of customer service to all internal and external customers

+ Work within and actively promote Medtronics Mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.


**Key Interfaces:**


+ 3PL/4PL Partners: Primary point of contact with 4PL partners for inventory management coordination, inventory counts at warehouse and consignment, process improvements and issues resolution.

+ Field Inventory Analyst (Shared Services): Coordinate inventory transactions, adjustments, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

+ Commercial Sales and Marketing: Coordination, together with 3PL/4PL operations, related to material and lot codes on orders and management of consigned inventory

+ Demand and Supply Planning: Provides insights on inventory, resolves/answers queries related to warehouse and consignment inventory, coordinates product return/sharing and processes impacting availability of products in country.

+ Customer Service (Shared Services): Coordinate concerns related to inventory impacting billing, inventory, and consignment fill-up, billing and returns.

+ Regulatory and Quality Assurance: Coordinate and assist in implementing PHO and FCA directives, batch-related quality complaints and product returns.

+ Finance: Coordinate concerns related to inventory such as (but not limited to) inventory adjustments, obsolescence, provisions, scrapping, SOGL management, buybacks and audit.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience


**Nice to Have**


+ Medical/Pharma, FMCG or Automotive industry experience

+ Advanced SAP knowledge (MM, SD, FICO)

+ Experience in using Tableau, Power BI, BW

+ Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint skills

+ Experience working across different distribution models (3PL, 4PL partners, distributors)

+ Experience managing over 1000 active skus across multiple business units

+ Project management/projects implementation experience

+ Has worked successfully in a global, complex, matrixed environment

+ 5-7 years experience in Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Demand-Supply Planning and/or Supply Chain Operations within a Commercial (non-BPO) organization

+ 3-5 years experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP-MM, SD

+ Experience in managing stock consignments at multiple locations

+ Advanced Excel skills

+ Good English written and oral communications skills
