**A Day in the Life**

As the Sr. Supply Chain Planner you will coordinate production plans and the manage supply chain functions required to achieve objectives for service, inventory management, and operating goals.

You will:

Coordinate and communicate with plant to develop production plans while balancing capacities and material availability.

Collaborate with plants and finance in the generation of strategic plan and latest estimate revisions regarding production volumes. Drive resolution and/or communicate effects of the differences between net requirements and master production schedule.

Provide leadership as it relates to new projects, or existing projects. Interact with departments managing the projects from the supply chain perspective. Typical projects may include; optimization of production capacity, movement of products to new/different facilities, improving global footprint, and manufacturing/supply chain efficiencies.

Facilitate communications between regional supply chain groups, demand planning, shared services, manufacturing and marketing.

Lead and coordinate supply chain performance review meetings.

Act as a key resource in monthly IBP supply cycle responsible for site production plan accuracy to requirements, rough cut capacity views and scenario planning.

Manage the process of net requirements generation, ensuring multi system accuracy.

Own master data accuracy for areas of responsibility ensuring proper system alignments and requirement signals.

Identify and participate in the resolution of issues by employing strong analytical and planning skills.

Drive operation metrics such net requirements, inventory targets and projections.

Manage inventory to maximize service and minimize investment. Own EIO input for optimization of global safety stocks.

Mentor one or more planners in day to day functions serving as subject matter expert for supply planning and supply chain project management.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Five + years demonstrated experience in the supply chain or related field.

+ Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing and transportation.

+ Rigorous mathematic and/or analytical skills demonstrated through educational or professional background.

+ Experience using current Supply Chain applications and systems. Manugistics and JD Edwards Enterprise One experience a plus.

+ Experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite of products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
