POSITION SUMMARY:


This position will be working on site at the Nuveen office in Downtown Chicago, IL.


Relocation assistance may be available based on location and experience.


Telecommuting and remote work is not available for this position.


Nuveen is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join its CRM IT Team and contribute to Nuveen's Salesforce implementation. The candidate will be responsible for working with business and IT leadership to implement complex Salesforce solutions. Candidate will be responsible for user entitlements, draft user stories / requirements, conduct application demos, provide / supplement project management role, conduct integration / user acceptance testing, and actively engage with application support.This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Work with business partners to gather business requirements / processes
    • Work with team (business analysts, projects managers, tech / architecture leads, developers and quality assurance) to document detailed functional specifications, workflows, data dictionaries, Salesforce configuration and any other required artifacts
    • Foster collaboration and communication among team and business partners / stakeholders
    • Provide primary or supplemental project management support to the projects
    • Participate in the full software development life cycle under mostly agile/scrum methodologies as scrum master
    • Provide end-user application support
    • Create and maintain business / functional documentation
    • Daily CRM administration including user management, roles, profiles, security, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts
    • Contribute to the overall configuration, design and layout of the Salesforce system architecture.
    • Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and system triggers; and be able to execute declarative Salesforce application configuration
    • Perform unit and system testing of code, configuration components, and integrations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills:
  • 4 or more years of experience configuring, deploying and supporting Salesforce
  • 4 or more years of experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • 2 or more years of experience in a Scrum Master role
  • 2 or more years of experience with SQL databases and writing queries
Preferred Skills:
  • Asset management or financial services industry experience
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of Sales, Marketing and Service business processes
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated expertise and working experience in a project management role
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Salesforce Mobile / Salesforce 1
  • Knowledge of supporting functionality built with Salesforce proprietary technologies: VisualForce and Apex code
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise-level applications
  • Experience with data mapping work
  • Salesforce Certifications
