Where the Chemistry Happens

 

Sales at BASF revolves around the customer experience and driving profitable growth. The foundation for this is a strong team that brings specific application, industry and market knowledge in order to understand the diverse markets where we build trusting and satisfying customer relationships.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing retail accounts in your own territory, meeting BASF specified targets by creating value for the existing customer base and prospecting for new customers with products, services, and/or solutions from BASF.  You will report directly to the District Sales Manager.

 

You will reside within California (Fresno area).  You will be traveling up to 20% of the time overnight. Our opportunities can take you all over the world...

Formula for Success  

  • Leveraging your Bachelor Degree and professional background in a Sales capacity, you will implement marketing programs with key retailers and launch new products into this geography.
  • Your strong application, industry, and market knowledge within the diverse markets we operate in will be a valued asset as you create demand for innovative products with key growers.
  • Successfully engaging outside the organization, you will provide superior customer service while developing strong relationships with growers and retailers.
  • Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will develop and execute strong business plans for results.
  • You must have a current Pest Control Advisor license in CA or be able to obtain your PCA within the first year of employment.
